None of us actually reads the terms, I know. So I’ve written these in plain English and kept them as short as I honestly can. By using this site and its tools, you’re agreeing to what’s below — so it’s worth a two-minute skim.
Using the tools
The tools here are free for you to use, for personal or commercial work alike. There’s no catch and no account. In return, I ask one simple thing: use them lawfully. Don’t use this site to process content you don’t have the right to handle, or anything illegal. What you choose to convert, edit or generate is entirely your call — and entirely your responsibility.
The “no promises” part (please read this one)
Everything here is provided as is and as available. I build and maintain these tools carefully, and I want every single one to work flawlessly — but I can’t promise they always will. Software has bugs, browsers behave differently, and edge cases happen. I don’t guarantee the tools will be error-free, available at all times, or perfectly suited to whatever you need them for.
So here’s my honest advice: keep a backup of anything important before you run it through any tool, here or anywhere else. Because the tools work inside your own browser, your original files always stay with you — but a good backup habit is just smart, full stop.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, I’m not liable for any damage, loss or headache that comes from using — or not being able to use — this site or its tools. That includes any loss of files or data. Since the processing happens on your own device and your files never reach my server, you keep full control of (and responsibility for) your files the entire time.
What’s mine and what’s yours
The design, code, text and original content of this website are mine, and they’re protected by copyright and other laws. Please don’t copy or republish large chunks of the site as your own. The flip side is simple and fair: the files and content you create or process with the tools are 100% yours. I make no claim over them whatsoever.
Ads and outside links
This site is supported by advertising, and it may link out to other websites. I don’t control those advertisers or third-party sites, and I’m not responsible for their content, products or practices. If you click through to somewhere else, you’re playing by their rules from that point on, not mine.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms now and then — to add a new tool, clarify something, or keep up with the law. When I do, I’ll post the new version here with an updated date. If you keep using the site afterward, that means you’re okay with the changes.
